Badbea, Ardessie, Camusnagaul and Dundonnell War Memorial, West Coast of Scotland, March 2012

            This self enclosed war memorial stands beside the A832 road, overlooking Little Loch Broom.The monument tells me that people in every community throughout our country made a contribution to the two World Wars, and other wars since and are still making that contribution today.  
The monument reads, " Erected to commemorate the names of the men of this district who made the supreme sacrifice for king and country in the World War 1914 - 1918, and also 1939 - 45. .
" For the glory of God and the good of humanity".
"Their name endureth forever." 
I have included the villages I passed through as the memorial is to the "men of this district." 
The monument is in a remote location and is well looked after.
