These days I don't think there are as many things being passed down as heirlooms and I really didn't have any objects worth photographing but I went with the concept of inheriting.
Photography is something I inherited from my Dad; having watched him take pictures with film SLRs while I was growing up, I wanted to do the same. Thus I got my first SLR aged 14. Now I am old enough to buy my own gear I actually bought these two old SLRs like the ones my Dad had and everytime I used them, they remind me of him.
The concept of the cameras was in my mind aĺl week but when we had this thick mist of Friday morning I knew I could use it for a very interesting setting. I probably looked quite odd while taking this shot.
