Theme: Lucky Eights

Marking the 8th Day of the 8th Month of Twenty Eighteen, the challenge was to photograph something on the theme of 8.
Actually quite tricky to do, unless you just go for a simple number. In 2016 we had to photograph odd-numbers of things and that was pretty tough, even though you could have 3, 5, 7 or even 9 of something. Find 8 of something proved harder. As I was in Devon and not in my usual area, I didn't know what I would find in the week, but I did find one or two things. This proved to be my favourite.
This is the Dart Valley Steam Railway, that runs from Paignton to Kingswear and at this point on the line, it's just running along the bank of the River Dart having gone past the former country house of author Agatha Christie.
As for the eights: There's 8 coaches to this train, eight wheels on each coach and 8 pairs of wheels on the steam engine.
