Bell AH-1Z Viper (2) - a photo on Flickriver

            While I like the AH-64 Apache and Eurocopter Tiger as much as the next guy, the Bell AH-1 has always been a personal favourite of mine - and I've been thinking about building one for ages. One of the defining features of the AH-1 is the very narrow fuselage cross section (0,9 m), but this is alo one of the main issues from a modelling standpoint - especially if you (like yours truly) like to fit a minifig or two into your builds. The design I landed on for the forward fuselage is 3/3,5 studs wide, which is the same width as the tail boom (basically identical to that on my older Bell 412 model).
