Model's my boyfriend Dylan. :) Expect a few more photos (a couple more with him!) this week. I'm determined to catch up with this project and finish it already.

Last week I reached over 10,000 views on my stream and that made me so happy! That's probably a super small feat for most artists because I honestly don't know what the average is for most people here but I just thought it was really really cool seeing 5 figures for the first time. :)

I've wanted to do a symmetry photo for so long and while editing I realized with the subject matter that this seemed like the perfect chance to do it! We went for a walk down by the treelined Cuyahoga River at school and found a tiny area along the path with hugely tall trees heavily covered in leaves and ivy that formed a little alcove on the edge of the trail that was so compositionally photogenic that it was practically calling my name to shoot in. The title for this came instantly, and I've been on an Ellie Goulding kick lately so that helped too. ;) It seemed like such a nice and peaceful little spot where you could take comfort in watching the raging river safely from so high up.

There's some parts about this I don't like but I'm happy with it overall. Yet another example of how I can go weeks without photographing and instantly become happy when I edit. I've said that so much but it's so true.
