Blea Tarn - Lake Distict - a photo on Flickriver

            Blea Tarn is lovely location in the Langdales area of the lake district. I had originally put off getting up early because thunder storms were forecast around sunrise. I popped my head out early and took a chance.  It was so calm I have never seen such still reflections so high up before. It’s hard to believe looking back at this but 15 mins later I was taking cover under some trees from torrential rain, thunder and lightning. Pretty frightening but at least I had my waterproofs this time.
