the arrival...

            This abandoned farm east of Ohio,IL. is a personal favorite of mine.It's slowly decaying and each time I visit there's a little less and the wind turbines around it seem a little taller and closer.The arrival of the windfarm many yars ago probably hastened the end of this old farm,the owner probably made more money selling or renting the land then he had ever made raising livestock or farming.This is inside the one building still standing,an old hog house suurounded rusty machinery and long,wavy grasses.In spring,it is almost an idyllic scene...until you look over your shoulder.Contrary to what wind power advocates say,these things do make noise,and the shadow they cast at certain parts of the day,is downright scary....
