Bellevue(beautiful view).....Explored

Despite living only about 90 minutes away,my wife and I had never visited Bellevue,IA.Our initiation to the town was waiting for the train,which runs right through the middle of downtown,and it just got better.With many great shops and small restauarants along with the nice riverfront settings,Bellevue is a real jewel along the upper Mississippi River.

This shot was taken from Bellevue State Park,which offers a great birdseye view of the town and the locks on the river.

The word "Bellevue" is a French word for beautiful view...
