Eastern Bldg. Down Town L.A. - a photo on Flickriver

            Walking out of the Umami Burger in down town Los Angeles, one sees this lavish 13 story office building designed by Claud Beelman, which opened in September 1930.  Becoming a historical monument in June of 1988, then converted to condo's in 2006. Truly a gem of an Art Deco design, also know for its turquoise color and artful facade designs of zig-zags and chevrons.
