Dallas at Sunset - a photo on Flickriver

Dallas at Sunset

            This was an assignment shot last year for a group that wanted to give away framed, iconic pictures of Dallas at their annual convention.  I took a friend to a not-so-friendly part of town for safety and hiked up over the Trinity River levee and waited for the sun to set to get this shot.  It's my favorite time of day to take photos.

Near the treeline, you can see the red streaks of cars and trucks speeding by on a nearby freeway.
