Estampada violentamente contra la cornisa de un edificio de la calle Milaneses nº3, muy cerca de laCalle Mayor, la extraña figura alada llama la atención de unos pocos transeúntes. ¿Es el diablo, un nuevo ángel caído en Madrid? ¿Es Ícaro estrellado tras volar tan cerca del sol que sus alas de cera se derritieron?
La incógnita la aclaró el propio autor, Miguel Ángel Ruiz, entrevista en un diario: “Hace 10.000 años un hombre alado sale a dar una vuelta, y al volver, volando tranquilamente de espaldas, mientras toma el sol, no se percata de que en el prado que aterriza siempre ha crecido toda una ciudad. El resultado es este accidente; una escultura del despiste, una estatua pre-Samur”.
La obra se titula “Accidente Aéreo” y se encuentra en pleno corazón de Madrid desde 2005, aunque aún es una desconocida para la mayoría de los madrileños. Info

Stamped violently against the ledge of a Milanese Street building No. 3, near the Calle Mayor, the strange winged figure draws attention to a few bystanders. Is the devil, a fallen angel in Madrid again? Is Icarus crashed after flying so close to the sun that his wings melted wax?
The question the author himself said, Miguel Angel Ruiz, in a diary interview "10,000 years ago a man winged out for a walk, and turning, flying quietly on his back, while taking the sun, do not realize that it lands on the lawn has always grown a whole city. The result is this accident, a sculpture of forgetfulness, a statue pre-Samur.
The work is entitled “plane crash” and is in the heart of Madrid since 2005, although still a stranger to most of Madrid.
