Wreck in Old Leigh

            Hello flickr chums. I am now back in my hometown of Leigh-on-Sea in the UK. This time I shall not be returning to New Jersey, as we have returned to our home here, for good. We spent 13 enjoyable years in the US and those of you I had the opportunity to meet, I wholeheartedly thank you, for enriching my experience. Those I didn't get to meet, I thank you for your continued support and encouragement.

I am now looking forward to exploring the UK and Europe (with my cameras of course), having not done so for many years.

When I come back to the UK, I love walking down to Old Leigh, an historic fishing village just a few minutes from my home and this time is no exception. A wreck had been brought up on the shoreline as part of a project entitled 'Wrecked on the Intertidal Zone' described on their website as follows:

‘Wrecked on the Intertidal Zone" is an artist-led socially engaged art and citizen science project, which sets out to uncover and highlight local, situated knowledge about the changing ecological, social and industrial arena of the Thames estuary.

I will be back in the US on business and vacation and my hard drive is still bursting with images from our US travels and life there. So, for the foreseeable future, there will be a mix of images from past, present and future adventures.
