Nikon's Holy Trinity - f/2.8 Zoom Lens!

            If you own a Nikon and your camera doesn't yet have the pleasure of mounting one of these lenes, then don't show this photo to your camera, it would just be torture.

This photo was taken using 5 lights and a fill card, an alien bee800 1' above subject, shot thru a small soft box, an alien bee1600 used for background light, shot thru 30 degree grid, up high and behind subject, aimed at backdrop.  An alien bee1600 camera left, shot thru a medium soft box aimed at lens from same hieght as camera, and two strobs both with 10 degree grids amied at the lens one from camera right, other at camera left only an inch from camera itself, idea of the last two was to light up the gold reflective name plate on lens with out too much spec. highlight.  Fill card was placed just in front of lens at a slight angle upward to help fill in any shadows and help light up gold name plate.  Triggered with a cybersync.    These are also sitting on a piece of glass.
