One of four photos taken on my road trip through the Canadian Rockies with my sister Peggy and her husband,We were in Banff, Alberta. Best seen large by clicking on the photo.

"Cascade Gardens
The gardens were made as a geological garden (in the manner of Joseph Paxton's geological garden at the Crystal Park in London) to explain the geology of Banff National Park. But they evolved into a rock garden with rustic features and extensive floral bedding."
