Roedd golau hwyr y prynhawn yn creu cysgodion cryf. Calchfaen golau yw waliau hen gapel Din Llugwy sydd wedi’w gorchuddio gyda cen gwyn. Mae’r cen yn arwydd o awyr iach ond hefyd dyma gyfle i dynnu llun yn fwriadol ar gyfer trosiad du a gwyn. Defnyddir hidlydd coch graddedig ar rhain hefyd – ymgais i dwllu’r awyr. Mi fyddai’n arbrofi ymhellach gyda’r trefniant yma. 

Late afternoon sun creates strong shadows. The walls of the mediaeval church at Dun Llugwy are built of local limestone and covered with white lichen (an indicator of clean air) – an opportunity to take photos with a mind for a black and white conversion. There is also a graduated red filter in use here, an attempt to darken the sky. I look forward to experimenting with this set-up in the next few weeks.
