Welcome to Strabane - Millennium Sculpture

The Millennium Sculpture from my hometown Strabane, These monuments gained the local nickname "the tinney's" due to a local telephoning a taxi service one night and telling the taxi man to wait beside these sculptures for a fair under the name"'tinneys" the poor man sat for ages before he finally caught on the joke when he looked out of his car window and realised these giant tin men beside him! lol The story was so funny the local newspaper even printed an article on the prank
