Exposed island - a photo on Flickriver

Exposed island

            Low Tide at Tonquin Beach in Tofino on Vancouver Island. Tofino has many beaches with many interesting coves and is a destination of choice for watching storms in the winter. Tonquin is one of the smallest beaches. This evening was very calm, so instead of hoped for drama there were gentle reflections on the sand.
