While I Have Eyes to See (Arches National Park)

            While I Have Eyes to See,
While I have a mind to imagine,
While I have breath to take in the chill of the morning air,
While I can hear the sounds of birds singing, 
While I have skin to feel the warmth of a coming day,
I will stand to take in the ray of sunlight on a morning day!

Another work of short poetry or prose to complement the image captured one morning in Arches National Park in the Courthouse Towers area. i knew with the bright light from the sun breaking through the clouds around the La Sal Mountains off in the distance, this would be a setting with a very large dynamic range. So I tried something I'd been practicing on this trip with an in-camera HDR setting on my Nikon D800E. I later worked with the TIFF image in Capture NX2 to work with the colors present in the highlights and shadows and remove a color cast present from the initial capture.
