Taking in Far Off Peaks of the Canadian Rockies (Banff National Park)

            This was a view I could only hope to somewhat capture with my camera. Luckily the clouds above added to the image where I didn't have to focus on adjusting for any negative space with the blue skies above. In fact, angling my SLR camera slightly downward kind of gave a better perspective to the enormousness of the view to the west while at the Sulphur Mountain Cosmic Ray Station. Yes, the eyes are easily drawn to the mountain peaks of Mount Cory and then Mount Bourgeau and other peaks of the Massive Range. Looking beyond the people on the observation deck, one might even notice the wandering curves of the Bow River and the more straight Trans-Canada Highway 1. Other than the perspective the eyes have with a wide angle view like this, the only thing really missing is the sound of the wind blowing around. Maybe an occasional voice or conversation, but otherwise just a quiet and peaceful view to take in...
