Man-Made Power Flowing Through Transmission Lines

I got the idea for this image from Flickr (www.flickr.com/photos/the-o/6177849668/in/gallery-1472333...). So after seeing this image, anytime I was near transmission lines I would try to find something similar to capture for my version of what I'd seen. Nothing up to that time had come close, even with a nearby transmission line that Austin Energy has across the street from where I live in Austin. Then I was driving down a California highway, heading to I-15, and there were transmission lines right above me. I stopped and took several image captures, looking both to the east and west. For this one, I tried to capture the different lines of transmission towers and electric power lines going over this hillsides, far off into the distance. I used a BW Cool/Warm CEP 4.0 recipe filter that I'd found a while back for the final image. And yes, there is a lone contrail in the skies between the two rows of towers.
