Angels Flight Railway - a photo on Flickriver

            Built in 1901, the Angels Flight Railway has been dubbed the "World Shortest Railway" and links Bunker Hill and Third/Hill Streets in Downtown Los Angeles. Currently not operating and not likely ever to again, it is a relic, linking this modern American megalopolis to its earliest days. Those stairs on the left are steep and for someone who hasn't slept for 25 hours, a real challenge!
