Hydrogen fireball forms holes in soap mambrane

            Now with 500 nanosecond flash duration I can see whats going on. The fireball forms local cellular instabilities as it expands to take up the volume of the bubble. Some of these cells then blow holes in the membrane of the bubble. This image shows holes forming above the fireball cell structure.
