Cheetah - a photo on Flickriver

On our final evening game drive we heard a report of 3 Cheetah nearby. On arrival there was no sign of the animals or other safari trucks. Just as we were thinking the Cheetahs had moved on they suddenly trotted into view. We were then treated to great views as they marked territory, stretched and generally looked really good. The best moment was when this one jumped up on this fallen tree to scan the surroundings. Our guide gently rolled the truck down a slight hill to get even better views. After 15 -20 minutes the 3 Cheetahs trotted off down the valley. An amazing experience, and better still it was just ourselves there. A short while after it was dark and driving back to the lodges we saw our 2nd Wild Dog hunt of the trip.
