Icy Glow - a photo on Flickriver

Icy Glow

            Ok, I don't usually post two images quite so similar, but I really felt that this image needed a portrait orientation view as well.  The portrait orientation really lets you showcase the bubbles in the ice.

The ice at Abraham lake has such incredible character to it, if you get there early enough!  I did not get there early enough, but the ice still had a lot to offer.  

Shot using a Canon 5D mark IV, 16-35 f/4L, and LEE polarizer.  This image is a composite from 3 images to focus stack.  No other way to keep everything in sharp focus with the lens being that close to the ice!
