ÖBB 1116.045 "Rail Cargo Hungaria" Freudenthal (6021)

            In Summerau wird der DG 44513 stets auf eine ÖBB Lok umgespannt. Zumeist bringt eine 1144 den Zug dann zu seinem Zielbahnhof Linz Vbf. Am 02. Oktober 2017 war für diese Aufgabe jedoch die 1116.045 der Rail Cargo Hungaria eingeteilt. Am Semmelhof in den Wäldern zwischen Summerau und Freistadt erwartete ich diese Leistung. Bemerkenswert waren die drei schweizer Kesselwagen hinter der Lok, die wie Modellbahn-Fahrzeuge wirkten und einen Farbakzent setzten. Auch die Wetterstimmung war interessant, die nahende Schlechtwetterfront ist gut erkennbar und es war spürbar, dass nun der Sommer endgültig vorbei ist und der Herbst kommt. Durch ein kleines Wolkenloch wurde der farbenfrohe Güterzug noch effektvoll angeleuchtet.  

At Summerau mixed freight train DG 44513 gets an ÖBB engine in front. Normally a class 1144 is scheduled for this job. But on October 2nd 2017 Rail Cargo's Hungaria's 1116.045 hauled this train to its final destination at Linz shunting yard. I awaited the mixed freight train in the woods between Summerau and Freistadt. Very interesting were the three little tank cars behind the engine - these wagons from Switzerland looked like toys and set a colorful accent in the landscape. The weather was also remarkable - you could see the upcoming bad weather and feel the summer was now going for this year. Through the clouds a sunbeam illuminated the scenery right in time when the train was passing this place.
